Initiatives

Initiatives

Initiatives are multi-quarter focus areas that drive cohesion across the Atlas. They’re not single projects—they’re cross-cutting efforts that reduce duplication, standardize interfaces, and strengthen the Reality → Action pipeline. When a toolset grows, initiatives prevent it from turning into a pile of unrelated scripts.

Each initiative links to active projects and the patterns they standardize. If you want the full map, start in Atlas Projects. If you want the strategy behind the map, start here.

Current initiative umbrellas include:

  • Data Visibility
  • Data Integrations and Automation
  • Infrastructure and Security Enhancements
  • AI Initiatives
  • Data Privacy and Compliance
  • Classroom and Staff Technology Operations

Data Visibility is the umbrella that centralizes and standardizes our data as a reliable source of truth. It covers the foundation (data warehouse + canonical datasets + metric definitions) and the consumption layer (dashboards, reports, and operational reporting products). Workstreams under Data Visibility include the Perpetual Data Reports Portal and the reporting systems that depend on standardized data.
