Playbooks capture how humans run systems: standard operating procedures, handoffs, escalation paths, and recovery steps. They exist to make systems survivable under stress—especially when the original builder isn’t available.
A system isn’t operational until someone else can run it confidently. Playbooks are how we turn tools into durable infrastructure.
Playbooks should evolve alongside the Atlas. When a system changes, the playbook changes. When an incident happens, the playbook absorbs the lesson.
